The act of giving your time is one of the most powerful aspects of human nature. At Hearing Support Bay of Plenty, we channel the dedication of our staff and volunteers to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those with hearing impairments, while also raising awareness about the importance of hearing protection. Make A Donation
Your contribution no matter the size helps us to maintain our services and continue to provide for the hearing impaired in our community. To be a voice for the hearing impaired and provide unbiased support and understanding to enable them to enjoy a normal hearing life in our community. To educate our younger generation on the importance of protecting your ears and your hearing. One-time or recurring donations can be made easily and securely.

Members of the Association

We offer an annual membership that comes with several benefits, including discounts on a range of education and advocacy services, battery shipments, four newsletters each year and invitations to special events. Your membership helps us to continue providing support and education throughout the region.

As a not-for-profit organisation, we rely on funding, community support, grants, and membership fees to continue our work within the community. Every contribution helps us reach more people and provide valuable services to those living with hearing loss.

Newsletters

Our members receive a quarterly newsletter that provides further information on our services and upcoming events and includes articles covering topics such as ‘Key Signs of hearing loss’ or ‘Tinnitus and how to cope with it’. These articles also provide independent advice on where to seek help for hearing tests and treatment, and on how to take proactive action to prevent hearing loss.
